Campypak Pouches, Envelopes Campy Pak, from BD, is a disposable hydrogen and carbon dioxide generating system that produces an ambient atmosphere suitable to support the primary isolation and cultivation of microaerophilic Campylobacter jejuni.
Capillary Tubes These tubes are manufactured from soft glass and fire polished. Heparin tubes have been treated with ammonium heparin solution. Ends may be sealed by flame or sealant.

Each lot of BBL media is tested against a multitude of organisms, both for inhibition, when required, and for growth supporting capability. Clinical strains are tested periodically to assess the current clinical picture.
