Racks: No Wire, Plastic, Wire Bel-Art's no wire racks are an economical alternative to wire racks. Molded of a special blend of autoclavable polypropylene that is heavier than water, the racks sink in a water bath and maintain their stability even in agitated water. Bel-Art also offers a line of polypropylene heavy duty test tube racks. Strong, compact and high capacity, these racks can be steam autoclavable. Bel-Art's epoxy coated wire test tube racks offers a superior performance that only a heat cured thermo-setting epoxy coating can give. It is designed to protect from rust and corrosion and is unaffected by organic solvents.
