Sedimentation Rate Apparatus Guest Medical's unique disposable closed system for Westergren Sedimentation rates, eliminates mouth pipetting and the usual spillage of blood associated with the conventional technique. Citrated blood is poured into a reservoir. A plastic Westergren pipette is then inserted, and the blood rises to the zero mark. The pipette, with the reservoir attached, is then inserted in the 10 unit rack for the usual Westergren timing period. On completion, the filled tube and reservoir can be discarded without emptying.
