Autoclaves Portable top-loading and self-contained laboratory sterilization systems made by Amerex/Hirayama are microprocessor controlled and fully programmable. They incorporate a built-in steam generator and plug into a standard 120VAC electrical outlet thereby eliminating costly plumbing and set-up charges. Water for steam generation is poured directly into the chamber. After sterilization, steam is vented automatically into a bottle in front of the autoclave.
